We're all delighted to have been shortlisted as one of just 4 finalists for "Community Champion of the Year" at the national KBB Review Awards for 2020.
The kbbreview Retail & Design Awards are a celebration of the very best retailers, designers and manufacturers in the kitchen and bathroom industry. They are by far the longest running and most prestigious awards in the sector with the 2020 event celebrating 26 years.
The Community Champion of the Year award is a brand new award for 2020, looking to celebrate those companies active in their communities. As the KBB Review outlined:
"The very best independent kitchen and bathroom retailers play a massive part in their local community – from charity fundraising to supporting initiatives to improve local infrastructure. They play an active role in improving the local environment and local causes.
This is such an important part of what makes a local retailer successful that we are looking to shine a spotlight on these community champions on the biggest stage – the kbbreview Retail & Design Awards 2020."
Caldicot Kitchens has been involved in a number of community projects in recent times, including providing kitchens for the Caldicot Musical Theatre Society, St John's Ambulance in Monmouth and Wye Gymnastics as well as a whole host of other smaller projects.
As a small independent business and living locally as well, we're always very grateful so many people choose to "shop local", and it is a pleasure to be able to contribute back to our local community, so we are thrilled and humbled to be one of the 4 finalists for this award!
A huge thank you to all our customers, staff & suppliers, without whom we wouldn't have been able to do these projects!
And if you have a local community project that you think we might be able to help with, do get in touch! We can't promise to fulfil every wish, but we'll always do what we can.
