CKBC to sponsor premier martial arts team in Wales
Caldicot Kitchen & Bathroom Centre are delighted to announce that from January 2016, we will be sponsoring the Gassor's Tournament Team - the leading martial arts team in Wales coached by staff from the Martial Arts & Fitness Centre (MAFC) in Maindee, Newport.
The Gassor's Tournament Team comprises some of the best martial arts students of all ages from the MAFC and it's satellite clubs and has just completed another fantastically successful year, with 51 medals won at the UK International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) Championships in Crawley and, shortly before that, winning the Irish ITF Kup (for overall leading team) and 50 medals!
With plans already well in place for the team to compete in the World ITF Junior & Senior Championships in July 2016, fund-raising is already well underway to achieve this goal.
"We've been involved with the MAFC and Gassor's Tournament Team for a little while now, and are always amazed by the dedication, spirit and skill all the team members (young and old!) and the commitment of the coaches. We're therefore really pleased to be able to sponsor the team and help a little towards the dream of competing (and winning!) at the World Championships!" said John & Nicky of Caldicot Kitchens.
